Opening hours

Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 6.00 pm
Friday 8.00am – 5.00 pm
Saturday 8.30 am – 12.00 pm

We are closed on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and all statutory holidays.

After hours

Should you require medical assistance after hours, please phone 07 5421104.  The phone will be answered by Homecare Medical Services, you will be provided with advice and information by a registered nurse.

Patient Portal

We now have Patient Portal available to you. This allows you to book appointments online and to order repeat prescriptions. There will be an annual administration fee of $10.00

Test results

Our policy at Papamoa Beach Family Practice is that patients will not be notified of normal test results unless otherwise specified by their doctor. If you wish to discuss your results then you need to make an appointment with your GP.

Alternatively, if you are registered with Patient Portal you can view your results online.

Doctor appointments

Doctors’ appointments are booked in 15 minutes slots. Should you require a longer appointment please let the reception staff know.
If you no longer need your appointment please inform a receptionist.

If you are very unwell or injured, let us know so that we can tell you where to park in close proximity to the building then prepare for your arrival.

Fees for enrolled patients

  • Under 12 years – FREE *
  • 13 – 17 years – $32.50
  • 18 – 24 years – $41.00
  • 25 – 44 years – $42.00
  • 45 – 64 years – $43.50
  • Over 65 years – $41.50
  • Skin Assessments  –  a double appointment is required at time of booking.  The cost is $120.00
  • There is a $5.00 fee for after hour charges on a Saturday

* Please note, there may still be a charge for materials, e.g. travel vaccines, liquid nitrogen, waterproof plasters and for minor surgery.


Enrolment is necessary to receive subsidies consultation. To enrol, you will need to complete a form, which also includes a transfer of notes request from your present GP. When enrolling, it is now a requirement to present your passport, or work permit, as proof of residency. You may obtain and complete an enrolment form by visiting our medical centre, where our friendly reception staff will be pleased to help you or alternatively download the form below.
